Happy December!
Being a real estate agent means that I am an entrepreneur. I enjoy running my own business and I love the independence it allows me to have. I also have a passion for promoting and supporting other entrepreneurs, especially local, small business owners whom I know personally.
In September I partnered with my neighbor, an artist, to showcase her artwork throughout an Open House I was holding. (check out JJ’s inspirational artwork at https://goldenlinesandsilverlinings.com/)
Last month, I held a client appreciation event in an Old Town gift and craft shop owned by a “hockey mom” friend I met when our sons played on a team together. It was a great way to support her shop and host my event in a beautiful, festive atmosphere. (see what Boxwood has to offer at https://www.boxwoodoldtown.com)
I also want to mention a wonderful company, Pawfectly Delicious Dog Treats. I met the owner, Anne, through a mutual friend. and we all play pickleball together. Pawfectly Delicious has a mission to provide young adults with disabilities the opportunity to engage in meaningful work and job training in an inclusive environment that celebrates their varying talents and connects them with their community. They produce wholesome, ginger dog treats that my dog, Benny, loves! (find more information at https://www.PawfectlyDelicious.org)
This holiday season – a time of giving to others and being grateful for the people around us – is an opportune time to support a small business owner, and I encourage you to do so!
I wish you the best during this holiday season!
– Kathy
